Life is a journey…

Born and raised in West Phil…, wait, I was born in Virginia, and not the Fresh Prince. Let me retrace my life’s journey for you. Born in Virginia, college in North Carolina and a short stint living there afterwards. Then I moved to Massachusetts (it took me the longest time to spell it correctly when I moved there), then to Maryland, and finally Washington state.

Now I am finally in “my home” of California. This post is not about moving around as much as it is about the journey we take while living in various places. We grow, are challenged, overcome obstacles, and become better versions of ourselves - in our careers, life, and relationships.

Whatever you are facing in this moment is just a moment. Recall what you have overcome in life, and recognize the beautiful person you have become. You might not be where you want to be, but thank God you are not where you used to be.
