Thank you…
The week is upon us, the week we come together as friends, family, a community to feast – it is Thanksgiving!
As much as I’d love a slice of mom’s sweet potato pie, a heaping of stuffing, sweet tea, and all the turkey my belly can hold before I slightly doze off into an I’tis coma, this year will be different.
Although I will not be with my family this year, I (we) have so much to be thankful for. I cannot tell you what to be grateful for, that is for you decide to. I believe you know what you have, and how much you should appreciate those things and people in your life.
Even with everything that is going on that looks contrary to being grateful, we can find something to show gratitude for in life.
Let me present this as a daily challenge. Each day this week take at least 2:00 to express gratitude for what you have – people, goods, provisions – those things that you are humbly grateful for and appreciate.
Remember, we do not know the depths of what people are facing, and it could be your very words of appreciation towards someone that can lift their spirit, touch their heart, and change their mind towards the positive.
Gratitude has power for not only the giver, but also the receiver. This week, whether with loved ones, friends, or in solitude, take time to express appreciation for where you are, who you have in your corner, and the abilities that you get to share with this world.
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” - Eckhart Tolle
Team, I hope you know that I am always here in support of you, and to encourage you to find that self-confidence to seek living your best life. When you are ready, schedule time with me to begin moving in the direction of your dreams, goals, and aspirations.
You’ve Got This!
