Hindsight…
With 2020 successfully in your rearview, and your sights set on making 2021 “your year”, might I ask you to take a moment to reflect on what you learned from the past year?
Not just what you learned about yourself, but also consider what you learned about the person you want to become, quite possibly this year.
You see, too often we want to rid ourselves of past hurts, burdens, discomfort, only to later realize that we make the same decisions that led us towards those undesired outcomes. Be it accepting a job with similar red flags to your last or agreeing to a date with a person you are not interested in, or worse, not creating positive routines for yourself to move the needle in your life.
This exercise should not take longer than 10 minutes and has the potential to improve these next few months if you apply what you uncover.
For each question, be as detailed as you can when answering. Remember, only you will know your responses and what you decide to act on when done.
Considering 2020:
What have you learned – about yourself, what you want, your fears, your dreams, etc.?
How have you grown?
Where do you need to do more work to become the person you envision?
This year presents 365 days of opportunity. Achieving your goals will begin with taking what you learned and applying it to each day. Take advantage of the opportunities presented, ask for what you need, and have the confidence to pursue what inspires you.
I am here to encourage and support you towards becoming your best self. Schedule time with me before you are ready.
You’ve Got This!
Cheers to 2021,
